I'd have to say

You always seem to keep you and your songs in the top positions! Ever time I'm on the website, I check to see if you have new songs etc.... thats the truth. You always have good music.

P.S.- Do you use FL? Or some other program?

Envy responds:

I use FL XD

Great Song

Hey MeastroRage. Been a while hasn't it. I know I know. But I've been on and off the past year to check your progress. I'd really have to say... This song it makes me feel so relaxed. What i imagine might surprise you a bit.

I imagine, around mid-night off the coast of a small island, a young man stands there on the sand, sea salt water running down the toes of his feet, glaring at the great beautiful sight he sees. He stands there, ignoring all that is around him. All his fears, doubts, worries, and anger. With the full moon in sight he now realizes what the point of life is. The reason he came here was to drown him self from being despised and known as the " cursed boy " But the sight had such power to stop him and make him think... "Why am I doing this?" And he stood there all night long until it had ended. The clouds covered the moons light and the man then walks , not where his village was, but he walked in the direction that he was shown. To the north. Where he could start all over. Have a new life. And if he needed, to come back and witness the sight all over again.

10 years later
A different person now walks the beach every night to see this spectacular sight. It is not a man but a young woman. The daughter of the same man who had thoughts of drowning him self to death. He shared the story to his daughter every single night before she had gone to bed. Then one day on a Thursday night the old man was very ill from being sick on and off, and had passed away while going on a hunt for food. The daughter then thought she would be able to see her father on the same beach he was nearly 10 years ago.

It is still said that she still walks the same beach every night looking for her father, not knowing that he had moved on.

I'm not sure what you guys think... But this is what I imagine hearing this song.

MaestroRage responds:

A bittersweet story eh? Perhaps she will find the peace and image she seeks from that site. It's a little heartbreaking to know she'll be doing that for a long while yet, maybe forever.

Thanks for sharing that Key-Reaper! I'm glad you liked the song, thanks again for the review!

Now...

If you did keep this up, figuring out how each instrument goes where it does, how each one effect the piece I see you making great progress. Better material. Better... Music.

P.S. Song loops very well....
P.S.S. Try to check out my songs.... I know they need improvement but on what?
P.S.S.S. Good luck.

Yes....Full Potential

I was reading the post and did check out this song.... The song is.. Stunning I should say. If you do use more of the instruments wisely, like in this case, the music comes out ever so beautiful.

Holy Crap Man....

You are bringing a new age of music. ( I think ). Great song man, really, you always keep me impressed. Keep the work up. I'll be sure to download your songs when I have the chance. Happy 4th of July, man.

Speach-less...

One of your greatest songs in my opinion. Ever. Period. It sounds like it could be used for a cinematic trailer or some fantasy video animation. Well you get the idea. Now for the breakdown. The start, I thought this was going to be more of a sad song while listening to the begging at the first 10 secs. After the 10 second mark however it totally changes perspectives, jumps into a war scene and then to the aftermath. The story is all that needs to be said to match the song its self. I had no different vision. Good job. I guess you are full of a lot of different surprises.

MaestroRage responds:

Thank you Key-Reaper! I personally don't think it's one of my best, but I appreciate the compliment. Maybe it's due to the fact I had to listen to this like 500 times :/. A song, no matter how great, becomes annoying after that many times.

I am glad the story clicked with you, and that you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review!

Something new...

Ok.... When LadyArsenic was singing really high that was pretty much though out the whole song that hurt my ears a bit, but just mine....Never ever have I heard anyone sing that high unless it was screeching...heh. Ok now the whole review. 0-28 seconds was a very good start. When Ladyarsenic starts singing wow, great start... At 1:08 the echoing of her voice i thought was odd. Then it starts like it did in the beginning of the song. Repeats until she starts singing alot higher in a different key or octive... The guitar solo I thought was a little short. Last the chorus fading out was a great ending. I gave it a 9 out of 10 because I thought she was sing a little to high and it could have been longer, but maybe you guys ran out of lyrics. :) Keep up the good work!

I have been working on my own song.... NO WAY AS GOOD AS ANY OF YOURS, but I tried. Its not a classical song but just rock I suppose. The whole song was made out of loops and it was just to be an experimental song but i have decided just to post it to get reviews on what it needed work on. One problem though. I think the newer version on Garageband doesn't allow music to be transfered to Itunes with out being turned into a mp4 music file... For any of you Garageband users that can help me with this problem, throw me a pm at Sk8ting_pingw0n@yahoo.com

MaestroRage responds:

A lot of people don't like how high my voice is, and it's really a matter of opinion. Operatic/Celtic voices are really something you either love or hate, and I suppose you're one of the ones who hates it. No big deal though. As for the echo, well. =( I thought it was cool at least...
I tried to keep the song short because this was originally for a contest. Found out I can't even submit the song because it has to be even shorter (2 minute limit). Thanks for listening!
As for your song, I'll check it out myself, but if you need to talk to Ragey about it then just PM him and let him know. ^ ^ 'Kay?
With love,
LadyArsenic <3

A lost dream???

MeastroRage I've written reviews time and time again on some of your songs and I'm here to say...Where does "The Lost dream" come in...? My visionary of this song is a battle in great vast lands such as Asia. The great Mongols fighting their way though China, and some other parts of Asia. Other than that your pieces still have great key and are still written very well. Keep up the great work!!

Speachless......

Deserves #1 spot. It's earned it. Good work. Now I'm those one of people that are picky and want just to say.... I couldn't find a flaw in the song. Your the first good job.

Magnificent...

As the sub-title says. What appealed to me the most was how the piano became staccato strings then became trance synths. Now you might ask how come you got a 9/10 then? The beginning between 0-20seconds wasn't getting a hold of my attention- in my opinion. Fantastic Job otherwise. Keep up the good work!!

I'm that guy that always gets along with other people. No matter who they are. I think I can learn a little something new from everyone new I meet.
